The geniuses in Madison

I spent the afternoon today in Madison, traveling on surface streets from East Washington out to Odana Road on the west side.. On the entire trip through the city, I did not see one properly cleared street more than 48 hours after the big snowfall.

It would be nice if the geniuses who intend to control every aspect of our lives had the basic sense to change their underwear after they soil themselves. That level of intelligence does not exist in our capitol city.

We were out there today (12/13).

Side-streets are just dreadful; snow-packed, extremely narrow...

And the suburbs (DeForest, e.g.) are almost as bad.

I'd like to see a trolley operate on those streets.
