Too late L.A. Dude, you are already subject to complete ridicule by all inhabitants of this planet for your lame idea. The Big Zero Salute is not even original, having appeared in Star Trek some forty years ago (back when McCain was in a cage in Hanoi).
McCain needs to play catch up on this salute thing.
Since Star Trek has already been tapped for ideas, I think the obvious choice for McCain is the Vulcan Salute. After all, live long and prosper pretty much describes McCain's life.
